Just got the bnr stage 1s installed

Just got the bnr stage 1 turbos installed my mods inc just dp , cb, walbro fuel pump, stock intake and stock computer. What is the most cost effective way to make this set up work because it feels real slow, and on the flipside i have to smog the car this week.

Please help...

The general conseus is 2 performance mods and your fairly safe... I would think you would be able to pass emissions withthose mods aren't bnr stage 1's just a rebuild? Correct me if i'm wrong.

its a rebuild, but the secondary is changed wheel, etc and ported wastegate, car drives fine but not as fast as the stock turbos were when the secondary turns on. do i need a different ecu? I need to pass smog first, please leave me all suggestions on how to pass smog with my mods without taking them off, ie "pass or dont pay" from kragen or whatever, i dont wanna have to go downt the pay "450 bucks" route if u know what i mean...

Not familiar w/ california but I would assume you should pass as long as the catback is legal and the downpipe isn't too shiny. A power fc and some tuning might help those problems...

You should be fine at a normal SMOG place. Most don't notice the downpipes, and you don't have anything that would make your car fail the sniffer.

With the stage 1's, only one compressor wheel is upgraged. You should be able to pass smog as long as you still have the stock cat. The only thing I see failing is the visual inspection (if they are **** about it). The BNR stage 1's are basically the same as stock with a ported WG. On the site, they say the upgrade one of the compressor wheels, but you won't make much more power without ECU, IC, and fuel mods. Even then, the power between stage 1 and stock TT isn't going to be much. Goodfellasfd3s made upwards of 350+rwhp on stock turbos. Why did you only go with stage 1? I have heard great things about the stage 3... Anyways, just make sure your visual inspection passes... you should be fine with emissions since you are on stock boost and stock ECU.

The easiest thing to do, if you had a PowerFC, would be to set up a really lean fuel map. That way, you can't lose .
