Just got back from the track

ok i just got back from english town. I made 4 passes. first one was terrible because i launched at like 5-6g and just spun because my friend who has slicks told me to but i kinda wanted 2 try it also 2 see if i would do better then i let off the gas when it felt like i broke something but nothing broke i was just nerves from all the wheel hop. so i ran like 16 something totally mess up. then the 2nd pass i did it again and i shifted into 5th instead of 3rd so i was pissed. then this kid showed up that i know from last season and helped me out. told me 2 launch at like 2,800-3000 tops, by the way my car is stock all i got is exuast and down pipe so then i line up and run 13.810 at 100.5mph then i run 13.835 or something like that at 101.6mph i got my launch down perfect now so now im happy just thought i would share my day.

according to your mph you have about another 5 tenths you can drop off your time. the key is 1.9 or better 60' times.

The funny thing is i still got the tires the car rolled out the dealer with. on the street i probably couldnt even pop the clutch with anything over 1,500 rpms but at the track i ran like 15lbs of air and the track is sticky and i dont even bother going threw the water or burning out.

well when i ran my personal best of 13.5 @ 101mph in my stock FD i had 14 psi of air in the tires did a burnout every time and had consistent 1.9 60' times. the best 60' i ever got was a 1.7 something @ battle of the imports in 01 too bad i let off on that run cause by the slip i was well on my way to a faster time. my tires by the way are falken ziex 502 h rated 225/50r16. i also noticed when returning from pit road my tires were throwing stones all in the wheel wells. i would have to get out of the car and clean them off by hand(got them pretty sticky)

When i said i didnt do a burnout i meant i didnt burn out to heat the tires. I spun the tires when i launched
my friend says with some sticky tires i could run low 13's
