Just brought home my 94 FD
Just wanted to say hello, only posted on the forum in the Vin check area so far. Been doing lots of searching and reading though. Great info. This started when I drove my friends FD, loved it. I did look at other options before my purchase (300ZX, Supra, etc). I have to say after driving it home today, glad I stayed with the FD. I picked it up in Raligh NC, had a great drive home, took lots of back roads up through eastern KY. Not sure what model I have, I believe it is the touring. It has leather, painted sunroof, spoiler, cruise, and the basics. It dosent have pwr locks, rear wiper, or the bose. It had added to it, R2 strut brace/fog lights, MP, DP, blow off valve, Apex dual intake (I'm going to add a heat shield), and new turbo's (stock). I dont think it has the original engine (94k on car) as it appears the waterpump neck has been painted silver (read that somewhere). I am going to try to confirm this. The car is in great shape, I will need tires soon though. Anyhow, just wanted to check in and say thanks for all the info, any insight on my model would be appreciated.

Thanks for all the info, I figured it might be a PEP. I bought it off a private owner in Raleigh NC. Its black with tan seats and front carpet, rest of the interior is black.

FDs dont have a separate power lock switch but the passenger door locks and unlocks in unison with the driver side lock. It doesnt work the other way around. Unlocking the passenger door doesnt unlock the driver's side.

Thanks for the lock info, just figured that out today. I am going to go through my manual, I'm sure I will learn a few things there. As for the ECU, all the mod's were done at a rotary performance shop, everything was tuned and adjusted there. I do plan on doing a cat back soon, noticed some rust on the muffler, I will need to have the ECU done again after that right?

Congradulations on the new ride. Good luck with it. If you take care of it, it will take care of you We'll for the most part. The 7 likes to get nasty sometimes. I guess it's just on it's period or something, so you just have to deal with it. Anyway get some pictures and lets see it.
