Smile Just bought a pair of Fikse FM5 Rims

I couldn't believe the buy it now price when I saw these on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1854894240

I really had no concrete plans to buy rims. I've always loved these rims and called Fikse to see about pricing--each rear (in 17x10) is $949 each

Here's a pic of them in 18 inch size on a Porsche for those unfamiliar with the rims:

http://ebay0.ipixmedia.com/abc/M28/_...eea63a/i-1.JPG

and

http://ebay0.ipixmedia.com/abc/M28/_...eea63a/i-2.JPG

I just can't pass up a good deal so I jumped on them--now to sell my organs to afford the fronts

Thanks, Ed. I actually thought back to a few weeks ago when I was in your garage admiring your R1 (to include your rims) and remembered how sweet they look on an FD. That's that pushed me to click the mouse

I don't suppose you have an extra pair of 17x8.5s laying around, do ya ?

That is why you and I have nothing in common

And if you think 750 bucks is too much for a pair of quality rims and tires for your 400+ hp FD, then you should look into purchasing a Kia Sephia to mod

You'd think the fact that the thread title includes the word "pair" would have clued him in---mayhaps he thought it was a post about a succulent bulbous fruit so his fat *** was obliged to check it out?

Yes, what is that indeed? You're *already* leaking oil?

Is that a special Jspec Tilt Steering Wheel? Because that prodigious belly of yours has forced you to ride shotgun in the past

Seriously Jon, you got a very nice deal on those rims. I'm not a fan of the style, but if you like them then that's all that matters. Now go hit the treadmill so I'll have less ammunition during these little Zinger fests we have
