First off, congrats on the purchase and welcome to the club.

Can't really help with the problem cause i don't understand the tech stuff...but if you're on a tight budget, good luck.

just so you know 500 HP and reliability is an oxymoron and it really is an excessive HP for this car

But an FD can be made very reliable and still be above 300 RWHP. Since the FD is lightweight thats plenty of power.

quick and dirty:

boost controller
A real CAI
upgraded SMIC or vmount (no FIMC unless you address ducting to the radiator)
Mild streetport
DP
MP
catback
ECU
turbo porting to address boost creep
set hi boost to no more than 14 psi (330 ish RWHP)

check the FAQ's for more info

Read this:

Then read the links.

I guess I should be the one to break the news: you won't be getting to 500hp on any kind of a budget. Getting to 400hp is a big step in itself.

go to the regional forums and do a search or make a new thread.

Caution about making a new thread: you might get flamed if you don't search prior
