Question Just bought a 93 FD

Just wanted to see what ppl thought. Just bought a 93 FD w/ 128 k on the chasis and 37 k on the motor and turbos. This baby has all kinds of upgrades and the body and engine are in great shape. I had it Dyno tested w/ 320 at the rear wheel. Interior needs some work and I'm on it. I paid 13000, too much?

Congrats on your purchase. If you are happy with the deal, then you didn't pay too much.

Which rear wheel dyno'd at 320

Welcome to the club. Sounds like a sweet deal, considering I paid $14k for mine, bone stock. We need pics and a mod list though, just to have something new to drool at.

Congrats and good luck, sounds like you got a good deal. Please give us that mods list. 320 is a very nice number. My car cost me 13800 and I have had to put more than a few dollars into it to get to 305 rwhp.

Congrats! I paid $9,500 for mine and immediately dumped 10,000 into it. The only person who can answer the "did I pay too much question" is yourself.

I'll give you the same advice others gave me when I purchased my FD.....Don't wreck it!

That's a pretty nice list of mods. Did you get a chance to see what your Air/Fuel ratios are when it was dyno'd? Also was the 320 rwhp at 14.5 psi? I'm curious.

Is the suspension/wheels stock?

Get us some pics.

Someone just helped me realize this is a CYM R1, too bad they didn't paint it the same shade when it got repainted.

Pearlyellow, unless something is wrong with your car that the seller managed to hide, and I really hope that is not the case, I think you got a great deal. Especially with the CYM. With the money you saved by not having to mod the thing get it repainted to the stock color sometime down the road. Great stuff, be careful out there as the remaining FD's are precious and of course life is relatively important as well. Don't get into boost exiting long curves and you should get years of enjoyment out of it.
