Just 2 quick questions.

Suppose that I want to get an intake, a downpipe, a midpipe, a BOV, and a pulley kit. Would I need an ECU or something to provide more fuel? And also, is it a dumb idea to get a downpipe and midpipe without a cat-back?

You will definitely need to upgrade your ECU with all those mods. Here is a list of mods I suggest...

1) Intake
2) SS 3" Downpipe
3) A'pexi GT Spec Exhaust
4) Upgrade your ECU with Pettit's, PFC, or Haltech
5) Midpipe
6) upgrade your fuel pump and injectors
7) Pulleys.

Don't run more than 13psi without upgrading your fuel system and ic. If you still have the stock ECU you should only run 10psi.

Personally I would stick an IC in as #7. then pulleys at #8.

Would it be a bad idea to just get a downpipe and midpipe without a catback?

I would say yes, because I think the main cat is the biggest restriciton in the exhaust.

You can find g-forces on partstrader for about 350-500, then you can usally sell your stock one for atleast 100. The AFC will allow you to fine tune the fuel, but you won't be able to do anything with the timing. A new AFC will also run you about as much as a used ECU.

Why are you in such a big hurry to ditch the cat, is your's bad? Even though it seems like everybody has a midpipe, there are definitely cons to using one. (am now strapping flame suit on). Once you install a midpipe, you will probably have to port the wastegate to avoid boost creep. You should have downpipe, cat-back, intake, ecu, and probably intercooler and higher flowing fuel pump before adding a midpipe.
