JDM Vacuum line reduction
Hey guys,
Just curious if anyone has done the simplified sequential turbo set-up, or even a complete stock replacement on a JDM car, and if so, if you encountered anything different from the USDM version.
I plan on replacing all the stock lines, and going with the simplified system with my JDM FD, and I'd like to know about as many surprises as I can before I start....
thanks!

JDM cars vacuum line wise are damn near identical. There's no EGR valve so there's just a few less than a US car. But, the vacuum hose job is pretty much the same process.
You also need some Viton check valves to do the job right - PM me, I've got plenty in stock ready to ship.

when i pulled my jdm motor apart, it was a bit different than the USDM one. Instead of the 2 solenoid sunder the uim its a black box, i was kind confused on how to simplify the lines. I did do the block off plates and that was super simple though. U dont happen the have a dealer manual for your jdm fd do you?

The black box was on 96+ cars So you can still do the same but can't really remove the solenoids.
As said above, the vacuum thing is pretty much the same but they don't have AWS, EGR, and a few other minor bits. I'll see if I can dig out the diagram I made when I did mine
Full sequential but with no emissions and an aftermarket FPR.
