JDM Vacuum line reduction

Hey guys,

Just curious if anyone has done the simplified sequential turbo set-up, or even a complete stock replacement on a JDM car, and if so, if you encountered anything different from the USDM version.

I plan on replacing all the stock lines, and going with the simplified system with my JDM FD, and I'd like to know about as many surprises as I can before I start....

thanks!

JDM cars vacuum line wise are damn near identical. There's no EGR valve so there's just a few less than a US car. But, the vacuum hose job is pretty much the same process.

You also need some Viton check valves to do the job right - PM me, I've got plenty in stock ready to ship.

when i pulled my jdm motor apart, it was a bit different than the USDM one. Instead of the 2 solenoid sunder the uim its a black box, i was kind confused on how to simplify the lines. I did do the block off plates and that was super simple though. U dont happen the have a dealer manual for your jdm fd do you?

The black box was on 96+ cars :) So you can still do the same but can't really remove the solenoids.

As said above, the vacuum thing is pretty much the same but they don't have AWS, EGR, and a few other minor bits. I'll see if I can dig out the diagram I made when I did mine :)
Full sequential but with no emissions and an aftermarket FPR.

That'd be great, thanks!
