No need to clutter this thread unless you have comments about IRP, there are already multiple threads about Angel Motorsports you can add to. Here are a couple to get started:

Just updating my experience with IRP… I received my order. It was a little over the 8 weeks but given all they are going through I am ok with that. It didn’t come with any documentation but after getting IRP on the phone (not sure who I talked to on the phone) he was very helpful. I hope they pull though this whole ex-employee mess!

I guess it's time to pile on...
I dropped my car off at IRP in the first week of June after coordinating a time with them for a tuning and a sale prep. I decided to sell my FD and wanted it to get a final tune and once over to ensure it was tip top for sale. They convinced me it would be better to rip out the PowerFC and install a Haltech. I was fine with that. I got the quote from Paul, paid 100% up front to the tune of almost $6k, and was told "a few weeks."
I see my car in their Instagram on July 4th. You can still see it now.
Fast forward, the car wasn't ready. As of 7/13 they were waiting on a wideband from Haltech to finish the tune. Then was told on 7/26 they were hoping to wrap up my car by "next week".
I get told on 7/27 that Paul didn't include meth injection setup and tuning in my original quote (and he was let go). Another $900. I didn't pay it but said go forward. At the very least I would hold that $900 until the car was done. I already paid almost $6k upfront. Mind you, this was against my better judgement. Paying for work before completion is never something I'd do, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt for whatever reason. Probably also because I know nowhere else reputable to take the car.
8/28, "Hey XXXX. Still have to wrap up the water injection and schedule with the tuner. He is traveling so it may be a couple weeks."
9/27, "Waiting on a couple Haltech bits. They have been on backorder. Im hoping next week."
I sent a message on their shopmonkey system (that's where all this occurs) on 10/9 and have not heard anything back on it. It's only today when I see the latest posts here and the facts that their online presence has been inactive.
Except for the Haltech, almost all my work is labor. Meaning no other parts to wait for. I even read this disaster before going back to them (they built my car originally) thinking this could be a mostly labor job that they'll make some money on and help them get things back in good shape. I'm starting to regret that thinking.
I'm going to attempt reaching out today a final time by their shopmonkey app and by phone. If I get no response, I'm going to drive there and see what's going on. I'm into this car way too much money, way more than I will ever see back I'm sure, but I can't flat out lose a car. For all I know the place is closed up and all the cars are gone.

I found that suspect only recently. I found it hard to believe Haltech couldn't get a wideband to them. Full disclosure, my previous thread about a subpar coolant system build was them. I didn't disclose then but maybe I should have. More people speaking up then may have prevented pain now, I need to live with that.

I reached out on Nov 14 to ask about the viability of my original oil cooler with the new rebuild and we had a back and forth on the same day specifically only about the oil cooler. I have not heard anything back since then, still awaiting the update on my car.
7 days until 1 yr from drop off.

Ordered a turbo kit in Feb of '23 was told delivery by May. Asked for an update in September (I'm deployed so no crazy rush), said they were just waiting on a shipment of the BW turbo itself. Now almost December and reading all of this isn't reassuring...waiting on a reply currently.

How the **** is this still a thing. If I lived near there I would show up with a trailer and get my car.

I ordered parts from them a year ago, and they parts were backordered. It's radio silence every time I email or try to call them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to supply chain issues on backordered parts. Now their website it down. I think I've lost all hope at this point.

You guys should get together for a class action. I do "ok" for myself, but I am amazed at how many of you guys throw $ around and act like it is normal to wait a year...

I’m still waiting for an engine and it’s complete radio silence. Unfortunately I’m in canada so it makes it a little harder to deal with. I have absolutely zero faith I will receive anything. They don’t even have an answering machine.

Basically, the former employee spoofed the business and stole money from a lot of people.
I was told the best thing to do is to try to get in touch with the shop with a copy of your invoice and payment history to have a conversation about what can be done which has already been stated here.

When I was able to get in touch I learned that this whole thing is a mess and I'm under the impression litigation is already being pursued against the former employee who effectively tanked the shop and it's reputation. The guy started doing business as a false LLC with a DBA similar to the real one for IR Performance, selling parts completely separately from the actual business. He was able to open the additional accounts and card machines because of his position with the company without the owner's knowledge, after he was caught he destroyed as much as he could on the way out so internal records/invoices don't exist for unfulfilled purchases. I believe this is the case for legitimate orders as well as the fake ones. That is why some folks have gotten their parts without much difficulty, some have received parts or refunds after getting in touch, and others have been left in wait.
