Internal Engine damage questions
I initially thought rotor gear protrusion as well but after measuring it up its the same as the front rotor in thickness within .004 of a mm. Looking at the rotor further it defiantly appears the main contacting of the rotor occurred from the gear to the rear iron and on each corner leading up the the corner seals on the face of the rotor. And again for the record none of these parts are going to be reused in this project. A good short block is already on the way to being reinstalled, so if anyone has any interest in any of these parts that they are wishing to resurface or reuse at their desecration I know my friend wouldn't be apposed to selling off what he has (not to turn this into a classified section post)
