Interesting set up on this FD

From titanium intercooler piping, to a three point strut bar. Pretty bad *** to say the least. Which I had a better shot of his turbo set up. It's pretty intersting, hard to tell what set up that is though. I see a couple of heat blankets and air ducting. Also notice the ribbets by the strut mounts.

Looking at whats written on the front cover, it looks to be the feast-power demo car?

I personally like the sock covering the master cylinder. Massive "bling" right there...

I still don't get it why there are ribbits on around the strut mount area.

I'll tell you what, the fabrication is superb. I love how straight the turbo piping is and that turbo inlet duct. The radiator/intercooler ducking is the ****. The whole set-up looks bullet proof.

Usually bulletproof and fd dont go hand in hand Engine looks amazing, wondering if their is any advantage of titanium piping vs regular toher than obvious weight savings.

thanks,

Bling factor probably as much as anything, secondarily, weight, i cant imagine the difference is enough to even be worth thinking about, but they probably had some spare titanium pipe from whatever and just threw it on there. We have a demo car that has an utterly useless titanium cage, but it looks really neat and people are blown away when you tell them its Ti.

I just drilled holes in my alluminum IC piping to save weight.

That's not a bad idea, but I'm planning on going one step further and eliminating mine completely. One less potential source of failure...

They put rivets to stiffen the chassi, same as some people do with tack welding everything. I would prefer the welds, but maybe they had there reasons.

I believe that car was in the Tsukuba circuit Battle Dec 2005 , wich chassi rigidity is a must.

That intake for the turbo is baddest I have ever seen. Do they make any kits? It's better than just an filter on the turbo with hose running to it...
