if you have the intercooler, just match the intercooler side of the duct to the actual intercooler core. As far as the open side, you want the opening to be about 1/4 the surface area of the core.

The Pettit CoolChargeII duct mates fairly close to the Greddy SMIC surface. The larger side is slightly too large, so some cutting and sanding is required. If your custom SMIC is around the size of a Greddy unit, then the Pettit duct will work just fine. Most of the larger IC come with their own fiberglass ducting and those are custom-fitted to the respective IC's. The Pettit duct is not a perfect fit, but some metal tape will suffice as a finish to the ducting. Make sure you test fit the duct to the IC surface a few times to get it to mate properly.

The way I did it was the mate the top of the duct flush with the lip on the Greddy unit. Then, I made sure the left side (facing the intake) was as close to flush as possible. The right side (facing the battery) has about 3/4" of the IC that is not covered; but it's not straight ... that is, the Pettit duct is curved so the top right side is flush with the right side, but the rest of the side leaves about 1/2 - 3/4" width of the IC open. I used the metal tape to seal off the sides and bottom of the IC. Hope this helps.

It will ... but you'll have to do a fair amount of cutting and sanding. The duct as it comes from Pettit is a bit larger than 12x8.

I am sure PFS knows the size of their duct but like any other BUSINESS they dont want to share their info for free, I am sure they would be more than happy to sell you one but not tell you all about it so you can go out and make it on your own, I am sure you can understand that.
