Hot air intakes are good for reducing tickets...... and of course keeping insurance premiums down.

the filters are apexi and the piping is 2 3/4, like i said its not done i still need to rivet on the back and left sides of the shield and about the cold air one of the vents on the hood is right over the intakes and im not sure if im going to cut a circle in the plastic fender well or vent the shield from the side of the radiator.

I noticed a decent power increase after putting on the apexi intake. not to mention it's one of the cheapest on the market. Runs even better in the chill morning air. I don't think 500 bucks for the HKS system is justified. Go the el cheapo route and make your own. Costs little except your time.

Any intake that does not suck hot air from your engine.

The best bang for the buck & if you can't fab your own would be Adam C's cheap bastard cold air intake.
