installing rats nest.

I live in a county where smog is a must to register your vehicle. I'm looking possibly buying an FD that has had the emissions equipment removed and the turbos are non sequential now. I know that the car will not pass a smog test without those pieces attached. But my question is how intense would re installing the emissions be ? Who has done this and would it be worth the hassle, I'm already getting a decent price for the car.

Keep in mind, nonsequential and emissions are two different things.

The EGR (if originally equipped), FPR, double-throttle, air pump and air control valve are not part of the turbo controls. These are emissions systems and usually get at least a visual inspection.

The turbo control, charge control, charge relief, etc are part of the sequential system that will only cause an inspection issue if your ECU is throwing a code for it. If you put resistors in place of these solenoids they'll never know what's missing.
