installed downpipe today
well I installed a downpipe on my '93 rx7, after reading some of the trouble some people had I figured I'd give it a shot after all It couldn't be any worse then installing headers on my '90 Z32.
And it wasn't it took 2hrs total , had no trouble with any of the nuts coming off I used a little PB Blast and it was pretty easy install.
I bought the Tsudo downpipe and heat wrapped it, already have the intake upgrade w/hardpipe kit aswell as 3 inch exhaust.
so looking forward to the test drive in the morning, already sounds louder just moving it out of the driveway.
anyway just thought some my want to know that it can be a fairly easy install to do yourself

Have a ECU or boost controller?
just took it for a quick drive and seems to be on par with what everyone says, feels stronger and louder.
don't think ecu is in order yet still have some of that running rich back fire

Read you n00b. You eyesight must be going at your old age.
he should still be fne running those three mods. However a boost controller should be there to prevent spikes but the ECU is really not needed now if you go by the ever so loved 3 mod rule. But sorry man that might be the last freebie power mod. Anything else and ur pushing it
