Well right now I have those aluminum/metal spacers that were provided by me in my fueling kit. Is there a way to make it work with those or do I need to purchase the cushions for the injectors that ID sells? And if I get those cushions, does that eliminate the need for those aluminum/metal spacers?

for using the spacers you already have, look back through the 1st page as there has been some discussion of that.
according to Injector Dynamics, if you buy the cushions you can eliminate the spacers altogether. If it were my car I'd get the cushions and call it a day. They're $1.50 each and will simplify fitment.

Yea totally understand that. I think I'll try and get the aluminum spacers to work right now since I want to get the car fired up this weekend and they are already in the LIM. All I'll need to do is get those spacers and then I'll purchase the cushions and add them later down the line.

The difference between a Bosch 1600 injector and an ID2000 injector is that you dont need injector drivers or resistors. You still need a top feed rail, you still need LIM spacers, you still need to wire in the new connector but I've been reading they have adapters now but not sure for which car.
So if all that is correct, and it should be, besides what you buy from Injector Dynamics all you need is a top feed rail and appropriate plumbing. You don't need resistors or an injector driver, you don't need LIM spacers, and you don't need to solder in new connectors because you can purchase an adapter harness.

So I ended going to a local hardware store to find a o-ring to fit the injectors. It seems as though my secondary injectors are firmly in and do not move up or down, only my primaries seem to be "loose".
Anyway, I put the spacers on and put them in and it keeps them from moving up and down so it worked, but the injectors in general seem to be able to wobble side to side. Once I put the rails on though, it seemed pretty firm.

Bringing this back from the dead because I'm trying to get my base map organized and set for when I'm ready to start up the car. My builder will be giving me a base map but he said that since I am using different injectors that I will need to get lag info and add it to my base tune. I will also then need to change base fuel globally either more or less.
This map will just to get the car up and running and the car will be getting a actual tune after break-in and when the car is ready.
With that said, is there anyone that could help me out with this or give me the e-mail for ID so I can talk to them and hopefully they can help me out with what I need to change for the map?

I would just raise fuel pressure to 3 bar (43.5 psi) and use the lag chart from ID for the battery voltage vs lag table in settings 5.

From what Injector Dynamics have been telling me, they sell everything to make it 100% drop in with no wiring and no spacers. The cushions I mentioned above replace the lower o-rings and are to be used in lieu of the spacers. I didn't get a full explanation from them for the wiring (I assume the plug-and-play harness they list on their site works) but they said anyone can call up and talk to them about any fitment or installation questions.

I can move the injector side to side and I don't have to use any effort to slide them in. Is that ok? I tried sticking them in there with the cushion and the aluminum spacer and it seems to sit just right but I am still worried if this is right.
