Injector wire colors

Hey guys, I am having some trouble figuring out which connector goes to which injector. I searched and found the colors of each specific injector wire, but mine don't seem to be the same colors. I have the following colors:
brown with red strip - black with yellow stripe
brown with lighter color brown stripe - black with yellow stripe
solid light green - black with yellow stripe
solid darker green color - black with lighter color stripe (possibly faded yellow)

I know they all should have a B/Y wire. I am just really confused here because I don't know if maybe the wires have changed colors over time or something, but these are not the same colors as they seemingly should be. On the harness, 3 of the connectors come out at roughly the same spot, where as one of the connectors is coming from closer to the firewall, by where the ground to the UIM splits from the harness.
I know I may not have explained my situation all that great, but any help is appreciated

You only need to distinquish the two primary injector connectors by their identity colors that aren't black with yellow.

Front Primary: Light Green with red stripe.
Rear Primary: Light Green with black stripe.

You can lightly scrape the surface of the wire's insulation to reveal the true color.
If that does not work, you can cut back the black outter protective over to an area where the colors might also be true.
If all else fails, test with a volt/ohm meter from the ECU side.

Try to look at the wires further back in the loom (back where they spread out from the main harness). I had the same issue as the colors had turned near the connectors.

I tried to scrape to reveal fresh wire color, but it didnt' seem to do anything...I guess they are just really baked. I'll try a lot further down the harness. As long as I know that there is no possibility that they are actually different colors. The different harness from different years don't have an different colors do they?

I would assume that if the injector connectors on the primary were switched around, it would cause driveability issues, correct?

now, from what I have heard, it won't cause a problem because they fire at the same time. Is this not the case?

The coil does but not the injector, its called waste spark not waste fuel!

Thanks for the clarification man. I was told by a member the opposite of that. It is either white or black...I wish other members wouldn't make a statement that isn't true...

Harnesses have a white ring near the connector which notes which connector is for the front injector. The primary and secondary both have that white band to know which connector is for which injector.

If the harness is old, that white band may have turned brown. In that case, use the wire colors to know which goes where.

No, I just meant that the other members statement should be white or black...no inbetween...it's either this or that...not it could be this or could be that. It is clear now
