Spark Plug Problem
I have a fairly new rebuilt engine that's street ported w/ exhaust and intakes. Stock for the most part. I drive it very slow, careful not to exceed 4000 rpm until she's nice and broken in then tuned. I just got a pfc and commander and was ready to get it tuned but the guys at the shop (as well as myself) are concerned about my short lived spark plugs.
My plugs have fouled out twice since the rebuild, once only an hour after they were replaced. My plan was to tow the car to the shop where they'd replace the plugs then tune, but tuning might not solve the problem. so finally my question is WHAT would cause the plugs to foul so quickly? The injectors were just sent out and cleaned, fuel pump is stock, stock ignition. Does anyone have any Idea what could cause this?

If they are not fouled to the point of flooding the motor I would just drive the car up there with a spare set ready to go. It sounds like you are just running extremely rich.
I'm no expert but I would suggest letting your tuner hook you up to a wide band. It might be something as simple as a rich tune. If not you may have a slightly more serious problem like injector sticking open ect.

I was planning on just taking it to the shop and hoping for the best, just wondering if anyone had any Idea what it could be. I pretty much asumed it was rich, I'll freak out if there's something seriously wrong with it.
