improving spool up on Non Seq. ?n

Someone please explain why and how much doing the block off plates, from the dontebearikki conversion help.

I get full boost at 4k rpms. with the rikki way and FULL exhaust, intake. (stock ic) Im getting the block off plates and was wondering how much of an improvement will I see with them? (500rpm sooner full boost?)
Is the improvement based on not having the airflow through the vacuum lines?
thanks

I didn't see much improvement at all. I have a hi-flo vs a mp though.

hmm. Same here. I have Hi-flo.
And I think someday soon Okc will have emissions tests. So Im skeptical to do block it all off.
So no one notices any really faster spool up?

Now let me ask this. If I block of some items, what items should I leave un-plated for emissions?
I know I can do the stuff like AWS, Double Throttle. but should I leave EGR?

block off probably wont help you. What will help is welding some flappers inside the exhaust manifold and pulling a butterfly inside the Y pipe.

A simple dawesdevices.com type boost controller, with hose from wg actuator to stock solenoid system plugged, should help.
