Im freaking out... please help me

so i went to put some oil in the FD today, and there was an orangish brown looking gunk on the underside of the cap.... please tell me i didnt blow a coolant seal!!!!

oh and i dont know if this will help. but the car wasnt started for almost a month before i seen this, then i drove it for 2 weeks went to put in some oil and this was under the cap. and before i left for that month.. this wasnt there

As long as the oil on the stick is good to go you're okay.
condensation gets inside the motor and most of it boils off after the engine gets hot. I've had it happen to me on my oil fill cap of my old Doge and I freaked out just the same.

wipe it off and keep an eye out.

Thats the funny thing about owning these cars. Whenever something goes wrong related to the engine, we always assume the worst or at least it crosses our minds.

I have the same thing. Lots of gross foam filling the oil filler neck...

mine isnt quite that bad... it was just on the cap and a very very thin film on the neck... and it wasnt white, it was orangy brown

How long have you had the car? The color that you're describing makes me think of that copper radiator filler, people pour it in to try and make it not smoke after blowing a coolant seal.
