Idle Surge, if you can call it that -*-[VIDEO]-*-
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...11596442385535
I turned the fan setting to 1 and the A/C on. This happened when the car was idling normally around 800 rpm. This happens every time any accessory (A/C, heat, fans, defrost, lights, radio, etc) is turned on.
Also, sometimes when I come to a stop at a light the car will do the same thing, except the idle will jump to ~1,100 rpms, drop to near 0, almost stall, shoot back up to ~1,100, "catch" itself around 1,400, and then slowly creep down to 800 - but if I touch any accessory the idle begins to surge like in the video.
What could be causing this problem? Help! I cant live with the car doing this at every intersection!

I figure you guys like information, at least for the few people that are reading this thread. I checked all of the sensors (according to PowerFC), and got some interesting results.
When the ignition was "ON", but the car was not running, the following switches were ON: CAT, HWL, PAC, CCN.
When the ignition was "ON", and the car was running, the following switches were ON: FPD, APR, CCN.
The NTR switch did not illuminate no matter what position the stick was in (N, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or R).
The CLT switch did not illuminate when the clutch was fully depressed. I am about to run the "clutch switch" search and fix that.
Do you think any of these switches could have a direct effect on the idle?

I just checked on the clutch switch, and it works great!
But the plug that connect to it is MIA. Where does the clutch switch wire go to from the clutch switch itself? Is it run through the fire wall in a hole directly behind the clutch?

try to unplug the BAC and see if the problem goes away. Your idle should be the same as with it plugged. The idle with ELD or A/C or any heavy loads will cause it to idle lower. This is normal with it unplugged. If the problem doesn't go away then you may still need to do the idle learn process again (assuming you have done this in the first place). If none of this makes sense PM me back and I'll see if I can help further. I'm a little busy with this last week of school so checking on this thread is not my first priority. I am willing to help just PM and I'll get back to you ASAP.
