I snapped a nipple off...HELP!

I was doing to oil catch can mod as shown HERE. And I snapped off the nipple on the intake tube near the turbo...I know thats bad...but its my daily driver...and suggestions...maybe wrap it witha sock until I can get it fixed...cuz isnt it an air intake deal? any suggestions. Or any place to get a better (NOT PLASTIC) part for it?

Thanks,
Sean

The smartest thing to do would be to get some very fine metal screen from the hardware store and put it over the hole and wrap tape at both ends around the screen and turbo inlet pipe

think about it a sock might get hot and catch on fire or have bits go into the turbos and motor.

BTW I just might have an extra turbo inlet at home

Thread in a brass nipple ,1/8 inch pipe thread . IF you want a new one , Garfinkle has one he may sell . Call 615 893 4469 if you need it . You can get a brass nipple and tap at Home depot or most any hard ware store . that is the fastest way to repair it . Glue may not hold for long, if it goes to the oil injectors and breaks then the oil injectors will not work .

this is a cheap fix but what i did was i bought some punch hole tools. I drilled the intake turbo inlet to fit in the little punch hole. (dont forget to put some epoxy or something) And then connect the vac.hose and voila.. hehehe a cheap $3 fix...
