I need a rebuild - come get my business!

I like what I read on Banzai's site but want to be absolutely sure that's the right place to go since there are several options. My motor's coming out this weekend and I would like to put everything back so I can get back on the track. This is a trackcar that sees little street duty.

I have around 55k on the engine now and it's actually running pretty flawlessly but since I blew my engine of my old FD on the track, I do not wish to relive through experience again.

I am not ambitious with horsepower as i'm happy with the stockish power on the track. I plan on sticking with the stock twins, boost around 12psi and would like to do a mild street port for a little more power. I do, however, want this rebuild to be as bullet-proof as possible so i can beat the **** out of it without worry. Obviously, it'll get a proper tune after the rebuilt.

Anyway, if you are a builder, convince me to give you my money If not, is Banzai the best choice for me?

where in socal are you located? i suppose one trick will be i will be travelling through southern cali in about 2 weeks or so to norcal to deliver a car and do a tuning session and picking up a car + another engine on my way back. you can check my website to see if it answers any other questions you may have.

shipping motors can be a pain sometimes.

i also haven't updated the pricing page to add in rotor housing resurfacing, but a 50k mile engine might be the one exception as the housings really should be near pristine if unabused. rotor housing resurfacing is $150 in addition to basic rebuild prices, if you really prefer new housings if the old ones are damaged extensively then the price drastically increases.

We are the right choice for you, we always have at least one engine from the west coast in the process of being rebuilt in our shop.

Shipping a motor is piece of cake, we take care of all the paperwork and scheduling, all you have to do is follow our instructions on our site for palleting the engine. You can have it picked up your house or drop it off at the closest terminal to save a few bucks.

I'm going to chime in as I had Banzai build mine. They were amazing in terms of customer support. Shipping the motor is cake. Just got to get a pallet and wrap it
Up, then strap it down. Chris is very meticulous with his work and it shows in the end product. I couldn't be happier with my Banzai rebuild. Many will agree that yes the builder is important, but the tuning is as important if not more.
