i park in the middle of no where and someone still manages to hit me and run....i mean there was noone around for at least 50ft. on all sides in this parking lot....and i wasn't an @$$hat an take up 2 spots...i parked right and did nothing to **** anyone off. and this is what happens omg i hate stupid people. sorry for the rant.

 

OMG, i feel your pain man. I got hit in the SAME exact spot as you back in the summer. I parked at the gas station to buy lottery tickets and a white owl and i was looking out the door the entire time because i had the car running, someone might try to jack it in my shithole of a town. Well i saw someone (a girl obviously) just back up and im like, "o she had to see that car, its ******* red red and its 5pm in the day, bright *** sun shining and ****". Well she didnt see it and WHACK!!, i saw the car shimmy from left to right from the hit.

Its funny cause i went out there and she rolled down the window and said, "im looking for an atm". and im like wtf i dont know where's one but you just hit my car!!!!

 

People can really suck. I think parking in the masses is the best way to go, I always hear about the outskirt cars being the ones that get raped.

yes its the cars parked outside of everyone that gets raped it sucks...i had someoen shove a freaking grocery cart into my car...left a few sratches but nothing too big...so i feel for ya actually having it break something

So after the hit, about 2 seconds later i storm out of the gas station, she looked at me through her windshield. As im going towards her driver side window, she has the nerve to ask me something totally out of whats important at that time. She didnt say like o who's car did i hit? or im sorry i just hit someone's car. She just asked where's the atm???

ahhh thinking about that day really makes me mad, even now lol..

LOL o no, we're not gonna go through this again.

Like i said before, my record is absolutely clean, no bumps, accidents, points ever. Not even tapping a car when i park, im really a good driver as told by everyone. Anyway i dont think this incident happened because someone was out to get me. This happened on the side of "how girls suck at driving", not "dont park your car in a handicapp".

So how can it be because of that? i have done it since i started driving (about 7-8 years), have been many times in the FD, happened many times in my beater, happened many times in my work van or other friends car. Just that one time? I dont think so. It was because there was a girl driving in a packed gas station. I bet she was on the phone, i really wish i knew so i can throw that phone right through her window or something.

The same thing happened to me once. Different car though...'74 Road Runner

I was parked in a school parking lot and I was way across the football field watching this whole thing take place. My car was the only car in the whole great big parking lot and some kid was jacking around doing I have no idea what. I heard this huge crash and I look up and see my car rolling away!!! He hit my car so hard it poped it out of gear (no parking brake set). Fortunatley the lot was very flat and it rolled to a stop.

I had parked in the middle to stay away from others, so I was really pissed. My first thought was to punch the ******* as soon as I could get close to him, but when I got over there, it was clear he was really shaken up and playing dumb. (Like all those idiot crooks on COPS).

It gets better. He had no liscense and no registration. All he was wearing was gym shorts and could not prove who he was. I wrote the liscense plate down and he says that he lives near by where his billfold is. I told him I would follow him there and get the information. We got to the house and his dad was home. He was a Cedar Rapids Police Officer, and he came out of the house and started taking pictures of my car. The jerk would not give me his insurance company, and told me he did not have to pay for the accident!

Well, I had a good insurance agent who jumped in the ring with me. I had his name, address and vehicle liscense and we went after them. It ruined the bumper and his insurance wanted to give me $300, but not before they ran my car down. Before it was over I got a pile of cash from them, but a tough fight. I made sure I didn't drive the car in that neighborhood again for a long time.

 

The by the end of the week from getting my car back from the paint shop. I got a big fat dent on each side from people being careless of opening their doors. =\

in the first picture at the flash glare if you look you can see the round impact spot where the bumper hit and above and below the light you can see the scrapes and scuffs and the second one the long black line where the bumper drug along the car.

 

The fact that she was on the phone says it all. She probably didn't even know she did it. Some people are just that oblivious...

 

thats really frustrating ... i've had similar problems once.

 

thats sucks i had my celica parked and some one crushed the glass head light and bent the fender and just left, then a week later someone got to close and scraped the whole side up and they left also.

 

ya that same exact thing happened to me, i got hit right like where the reflector is, the dent was, if not bigger, than a basketball, it was bad...i just took off the reflector and pulled the **** out of it till POP the dent is out...only thing is the reflector is all broken n ****
