I got couple of problems... ABS, Boost, Hesitation.. etc.

Engine was just replaced/rebuilded. I have all the bolt-ons pretty much and engine is ported, PFC, etc. Running stock Seq Twins still though.

First the ABS.... Normaly the light stays off, but if I rev the engine in neutral it comes on. It goes away then after it shut the car off. I don't know what's the deal with that damn thing.

Boost: Here is the thing with damn boost, In 1st gear after transition the boost starts falling down to like 5psi or so. It happens in other gears as well. I can hear boost leaking like the damn CRV is venting when it shouldn't, but i just replaced the Charge relief sollenoid and i double checked everything else with the hose routing etc. The only thing is... i could swear that when i hear that boost vent leak, it seems like it's coming from drivers side... but there is nothing there that would trigger it to leak after 4500 rpm... Right?
The other thing is as soon as i replaced the solenoid i went for a ride and i saw 10-11psi after 4500rpm but then later on it goes away again. It just starts bleeding it off. I do have Simplified Sequential and i had it for a year or so with no problems. I did this on my first rebuild last year.

Hessitation: It seems that as soon as i go past 4500rpm, under full throttle with both twins working (when they're working) i get a lot of hessitation like ignition break up. Now i had something like this before, but it was at 14psi and to fix it i bought MSD 6a, which made it go away. This time it's happening any time over 4500rpm. Now what i did with this engine rebuild is i moved the Coils where the Cruise control used to be and i bought New Spark plug wires but for FC. All the wiring seems fine... the only thing is... for you guys that moved your coils... i didn't connect that ground that goes around the wires... that seems to be like a shield for 3 Positive wires to each coil. I decided not to mess with that, as it doesn't seem to serve much purpose.

Differential/Driveshaft: I have a 6 puck sprung clutch. When i down shift to 2nd or third and start letting off the clutch easy i get like vibration or hop or something at the rear. It doesn't happne when i let of the clutch fast only when i do it slowly. Is this because of the damn 6 puck or am i having u-joint problems?

Ok i guess that's it for now. Please when you address each issue let me know which one are you talking about as i really never had any of these problems before so it's really strange at this point.

Thanks a lot.

First, I would ground those wires. It's easy and it removes a possible problem. Second, were your injectors ever cleaned? Do you have an AFR gauge?

I'm at D&R today so i'm using Ron's User name....

I grounded that wire... but it made not difference. Injectors were cleaned by RC couple of months ago.

My boost problem was that the pressure chamber's Check valve was pointing the other way. The damn sollenoids never got any pressure they were only getting vacuum so the CRV was venting as soon as secondary turbo came online. I think i must have messed it up when i was putting the engine back together and swapping hoses etc.

The hesitation is really bad that it makes me feel like maybe my MSD 6a is not working or something. I can't go past 9psi it hesitates like crazy. I don't know much about Spark plug wires, but the only ones i could find in time to go from coil relocation to the spark plugs were the 6mm or 7mm not sure long *** wires from an FC.

How do you know if the wires are good enough to handle what the coils are sending... also How can you tell if MSD is working?

Thanks guys.

Also other problem i'm having which is probably ABS related. When i come to complete stop and press the brake. I can feel like the brake is pusshing me back.... and i also hear like this kind of like Breathing sound coming from either ABS or Brake booster... I think that's why i keep getting ABS light, but i'm not sure what to check...

Hesitation seems to be fixed...

I guess I'll deal with ABS later.

Have you checked the check screen (sensor checks) in the PFC?

This will show you when the car is in nuetral and when the clutch is engaged, if they are working properly.

My clutch switch doesn't come on all the time.

The circle will be highlighted (black) when the clutch pedal is depressed and when you are in nuetral.

It highlights the circle when the item is being used or on.

It was the wires. They were stock autozone wires for FC. I made my custom fit ones 8.8mm and everything is great now.
