I found the problem to the rear clunking noise
When I hold onto the rear rotor and move it side to side, the joint in the above picture makes the clunking noise. Is this the pillow ball mount?
I couldn't figure out the problem before, but I found the problem during installation of coilovers.
The car would make this clunking noise every time I hit the brakes suddenly or if I'm at a stop with the E-brake up and rock the car back and forth.

The toe link does have pillowballs. The inner one is encased in a rubber bushing, which is why that end is larger in diameter. It's odd that the inner one failed on your car, usually it's the outer one that goes and causes clunking. You sure it's the inner and not the outer joint?

Agree with last two posts. And just to add another FYI....if you do end up replacing the smaller outer bushing (which is also the one I would suspect most), be careful when pressing it in. It's not steel sleeved like the the other pillow-*****, and you can damage it pretty easily.

If you replace the toe link bushings, or go with aftermarket replacements, I would recommend upgrading the trailing arms, or, replacing the trailing arm bushings too.
Aftermarket replacements are can be less expensive then replacing the bushings.
