HVAC panel, fan blows but nothing else?
Hey guys,
Quick background, I had this problem last summer so I purchased a used HVAC panel. Before my car went in for paint, I plugged her in and tested it out, and thankfully I had heat, hazards worked, ac button worked, vent control, etc... Fast forward to yesterday when I'm finishing putting the car back together and I plug my HVAC panel in to try, and only the fan switch works. I can adjust the fan speed, but nothing else works on the panel, from the dimmer to the hazard button. Vent control will not change, no lights, no ac button lightup, no circulation button. The car was an electrical nightmare, so I repaired a lot but I did not change anything I feel that would've affected the HVAC panel. I've been able to tackle all the different issues with this car except this one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Chris

Well, good news is I was able to get my hazards working. Turns out I have a bad tns relay. But there still isn't any HVAC function except speed. Anyone know if there is any other relays that pertain to these functions?

i know it sounds crazy but check your rear wiper fuse. it should be a 15 in the driver kick panel. typically if it goes bad you wont get any fan controls but you have all the other symptoms so i think checking that fuse would be a good bet. pull it out, look at it and put it back in or replace it.

Probably not. My car wasn't equipped with one from the factory and my fuse box cover has parentheses around the rear wiper fuse indicating it doesn't apply but without a fuse in that location, my hvac doesn't work or light up but my hazards do.

Thanks for the fuse suggestion, no dice though. I'll check that link to see if any of the information will help me out. Also I'm attaching a picture, can anyone tell me what the circled plugs are for? They have never been connected to my knowledge in my Car. Maybe these are contributing to my problem. And they don't plug into each other.
