Unhappy Huge intercooler

Hi!
I bought ssautochrome huge front mount intercooler 24x12x4. My friends told to me that it is overkill to my 13b-re. I build turbo upgrade with turbonetics T61 turbo, 1.5 bar max boost, 8000 max rpm, porting. Are my friends right?

You'll have to do custom piping. That's why the intercooler kits cost more money than just buying the intercooler by itself (along with any other brackets for adjusting the radiator position and such).

Any of you guys got pics of your install on that intercooler? I did'nt see how I could make it work even with a custom pipe job. I bought the 24x12x4 and decided after that to buy another one that's a little smaller.
You can buy polished aluminum pipes with couplers on ebay for about 100 bucks.

24x12x4 w/pipes for sale!
