HP estimate

Hello everyone,

I am wondering what kind of numbers are expected with following mods:

-Aftermarket SMIC
-Aftermarket Radiator
-Air filters
-Catback exhaust
-Powerfc

Other mods are alum. ast, turbo timer.

Also, let me know if i would need any other mod for reliability. Thanks

not a mod but replace your fuel filter and your pulsation damper.

If you want more power, get the downpipe and the midpipe, unless you forgot to list those.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it does have a midpipe. I am not looking for crazy numbers, just want it to be reliable and fun to drive around. Is tuning for 10psi reliable with those mods? Thank you

Catback = +12 HP
Power FC if tuned right = +20
Air Filters = +5

That's being optimistic.. so give or take a few....

without dump on 0.9 bar with your mods i would say around 270rwhp if tuned well...

the biggest restriction is the stock downpipe.. get an aftermarket one and you can expect around 320rwhp on 0.9bar with tune

I have a fuel pulsation damper thats brand new that I got from Ray. I bought it a few weeks ago and then bought a full fuel system upgrade so I never installed it. I'd sell it for $100 shipped if you're interested. Let me know.

Good numbers! Would not have expected that much with just those mods on 10lbs. My old R1 with those mods was pushing that at 14 lbs. Solid engine for you.

Sounds like a good idea. Those were my expectations at first also. After all the mods I've made I'm now looking for about 360rwhp. Every time I bought a new part it seemed that to properly support it I should make another mod. For me it got kinda addicting and then my mod list snowballed into what it has become. Luckily I had the money to do all of this because my fiance would have never let me go into debt for something like this.

buy my wife a nice car and me a roller and start from the ground up

The only reason my fiance doesn't get in my way about this car is, when I volunteered to deploy to Iraq I was up front that I was going to build a car. My Rx7 is my gift to myself
