negative: sorry i havent posted, i was gone the last few days. that method of measurement seems good to me. is our buddy from the UK still around? anyone from japan, AU, or NZ care to do us a huge favor and measure for us? please???? majhik: i guess we could just estimate where to put them but im a little obsessive-compulsive when it comes to my FD (i think alot of us are.... i let the dishes pile up for days on end but i make sure my 7 is always spotless ). so anyway, someone care to help the folks in the US out?

Just put them where they look "good". You'll save yourself a lot of headaches.

Those side markers didn't come until the '99 body came out. The side markers I believe on the 93-98 were on the front bumper not the fender.

that must only be in the us then because the japanese and uk market ones came with them on the fender like the above 99 spec pic as standard...

hey whats up tinfan82? well i think the harnesses may be available but it will probably be more work to get them than its worth. i'm not sure on this one but there may be a socket at kragen with wires attached that will be a direct fit for the hole in the side marker. otherwise just solder some wires onto the back of the terminals and maybe put some epoxy resin in there so they dont move around... a little ghetto but it will work.
