Does anyone know how to take that storage thing/section out that sits in the front where the ac and heater *** is at under or next to the cd player??? I don't know what it's called so i'm having a hard time searching for it on here.

 

The DIN panel? IIRC you need the pair of U-shaped metal hoops like you'd use for a stereo install/uninstall.

 

Really? Where would I put them In to take it out? I don't see anything in the front or side where I can put the metal hooks in. I just see four little holes in the front when I open the little door for it.

Bend two sections of coat hanger into U shapes. Insert one in each side and pull out the DIN pocket. Very easy.

Most any auto parts store should have one of these.

 

I got it out! hahaha I didnt know what you guys were talking about with the whole U shaped metal thing until i saw the pic jkstill provided after i took it out lol but all i did was pinch the metal "clip things" on the side of the DIN with my fingers and pulled it out... I had access to them because the cd player was out.
