actually i just ran into the same problem.... big-o must have stripped every freakin lock because they just pop back out when i crank on them. im not sure how to get them off so i just gave up for now. ill let big-o deal with it unless there is another good method -heath
Go to a tire shop (e.g. Discount Tires) they can get it off. If you want to D.I.Y. then Sears sells striped nut removal tools also... or just do what my brother did.. get a socket that will fit snuggly around the nut and hammer it in there. Then wrench it off as normal (usually those 12pt sockets work best for this procedure).
Thanks for the responde, i foun a kit here in Spain, to broke all wheel locks, in 20 seconds unit i replace all mcgard wheel locks for a new ones.

bang a slightly smaller socket on to it and it'll come off. Don't use use one of your best sockets or be prepared to have to buy a new one cause it will probably enlarge it a little but you could continue to use it for this purpose.
Just ran into this issue over the weekend. I broke mine key though. If you can wait tell a new on comes in the mail from Mcgard or whom ever. Then wait. But otherwise I welded a blot to the keyed lug nuts and unbloted it that way. I had to replace my front pads and could not wait. Although I will wait for the key to come for the rears. They can wait.

If you got the McGard stock locks, there may be a registration # stored in the wheel lock bin. (That's where mine was)
I ordered new Splinegards from McGard (actually, ordered from Summit.com) $77 shipped
I got the red caps.
I couldn't get my old locks off, so I went to Tires Plus, where I get free rotations, and they removed them for me.
I'll post a pic when I get a new hosting site, as my old site just dissapeared after 5 years.
