Question have a little money for toys... what to do?

i got my bonus this week so half of it is going towards toys. after purchasing a telephot lense for my new camera i have about $470 left to get something(s) for the FD. i was thinking about getting a set of H&R springs (i plan on getting new struts eventually too and was cautioned against installing them separate from the springs since its a pain in the ****) or possible a nice red R1 strut bar... some 96+ tail lights or a short shifter kit. what do you guys recommend i get?

so far... its just a '93 base model w/ a few minor mods
Apex'i PFC & commander
Apex'i power intake
RB dual tip cat-back
i have a koyo waiting to be installed
Magnecore 10mm spark wires

Lightbulb

Save your money for the suspension. If you have to get something now, get some good upgraded street brake pads.

get a HIGH FLOW CAT

I see you are in MD.. so take it to Demetrious
and have him TUNE it..

Tuning will be the best MONEY SPENT on your car.
Period.

Up your boost to 12psi and Tune it to a 11.2 AFR.

Or get a used SMIC.. Or hmm FUEL Pump

But tune should be #1

grr... i keep forgetting stuff that's been done...

i have the whole braided SS brake line, Brembo, dimpled/slotted rotor and brake pad kit that Mahjik recommended to me about 6 months ago love 'em. issue with getting the high flow cat is that then i have to come up with another $250 for Dee to tune my car out. he's already done it once. its tuned to about 11psi at the moment... he was being conservative since its my DD

if anyone else has any good ideas... let me know... but yeah, i think i'm just gonna wait and get the whole suspension set-up in a month or two... unless i can find some good springs cheap. or perhaps, i'll just get what i can afford now and let them sit till i get enough to buy the rest. hmm. who knows. keep the suggestions coming guys. thanks for the help!

do the 99 tail light conversion (paint) just to tide you over until you can get the suspension

save it for something you will need, why are you in such a hurry to spend all your extra cash?

why arent you running a midpipe or at least a high flow cat?

these really free up the exhaust and youll be able to tune your AFRs well with the PFC so you wont lean out

I would say just save it till you get enough cash for the whole suspension.

Save it for the suspension. Paint the tails instead of getting new ones. And check ebay and the for sale section to find a good condition R1 strut bar.

He should probably work his way up to coilovers, unless he's got a shop that can properly cornerweight the car once they're installed. Waste of money IMO unless you can have them setup right, and you can actually drive the car well enough to justify them.

then again, just my .02
