I am a stock mount worshipper personally so the advice I would give is biased.

Large mount for 14=< psi and single turbos.
Medium for 12-14 psi and smaller single turbos at reasonable psi.

Stock for 10 psi.

Front mount if no other option is available. 2 row for sub 15 psi 3 row for >15 psi.

Giving what mods you want to do, how much psi you want to run and your power goals and practices will give you best results when asking advice here.

The Greddy intercoolers are pretty shitty in my opinion. I used to push them, but the money you save with quickly be offset by the additional labor of fitting and hacking up the bumper. After we put a Blitz intercooler in Goodfella's car and seeing how well the fitment is, I would recommend them to anyone. The Apexi is also a good option.

Everyone knocks the front mount, yet i've seen street cars as well as track cars use them effectively.

Me personally i'm going to pull off the bumper and fabricate a v-mount. There's another thread here somewhere that game me a bug i just can't kick.

quite, and i'm thankful that this thread hasn't descended in to that anarchy.

as far as the OP is concerned one of the major contributors to this forum has a website containing comparos of intercoolers (and other products) speculation, etc. (i'm sure someone can remember the url) that is where you should start to form an opinion.

As with everything else on your seven decide the application and your desired power level *now* before you invest in more or less than you need.

Application; i.e. what you plan to do with your car. Each design has its benefits and weaknesses so you need to see what's best for your use.

Regardless of the HP, what will you be doing with the car? Drag racing, just driving around on the streets?

I just took the time to figure out what would be the most expensive one on the market. I soon saw it was the Mazdaspped so that is what I got...and I like the fitment and that it is OEM. And I am crazy.

No just price and the fact that they go for ~2400.oo per copy. UNLESS you order with FDnewBIE. It less. It is bigger but not by much. ~ 15% better performance. However it was what my car came with and needed to be replace to put it back to OEM.

Boring story several parts were sold off my car before I got it. Has taken about 2 years or so to get the parts and SN# to match again.
