How much would you pay?

Ok im new to the forum and im looking into this rx-7 and i was wondering how much would you pay for it.

The Car:
Its a 93 rx7 5 speed twin turbo the body has 134,000 miles and the new motor has 3,000. It has: hks down pipe, hks mid pipe, hks cat back super dragger, hks ssq bov, hks super flow dual air intake, venom high flow fuel pump, b&m short throw shifter, ractive shift ****, msd wires, motor was rebuilt last year 2mm apex seals about 3,000 miles on motor, apexi computer (needs to be tuned), new paint as of 6/10/04 prawler orange, bomex body kit molded to the car, sleek headlight kit, shaved antenna shaved rear wiper, custom painted interrior, brand new 19 inch motegi rims wraped in nitto tires, sprint 2 inch lowering springs , diomond plate above muffler, eclipse 5 volt cd player, rockford 1200 watt amp, custom fiberglass sub box, alpine type r 12 inch subs.ok now the bad things there is a rip in the drivers seat, and a scratch by the headlight no bigger then a dim., ac doesn't work.

So the sincro has to be replaced, computer needs to be tuned, a rip in the seat, and a scratch by the headlight.

/edit:
the a/c has to be fixed. sorry forgot to add.

thank you in advanced.

I would say no more than 13k for it but personally I would say 10 max because of all the junk on it. It sounds like an eye sore.

the 5th gear syncro you are looking at 450-500 in labor and not sure on the part. Remember, if you are going to be re-doing all that stuff, you offer should reflect what it would cost you to do that rather than drove/fly someplace where you can get a stock FD and not have to pay for their bad taste. Put ALOT of thought into it.

good advice, don't buy a car with mods unless they are good mods

well im not going to redo all the stuff i might replace the bodykit but im not sure also im not going to repaint the car yet because its still in ok shape and the seats are ok still i get more money. All i want is to fix the a/c, 5th gear sincro, and tune the computer.

So if anyone knows how much it would be for those that would be great.

Unless you feel the need to rescue the car, leave it for someone else to fix or further ruin. Go buy a stock or tastefully modded car instead. There's plenty of them around.

Sounds like a POS. Molded bodykits are great if you like that sort of thing until you bump the slightest thing and they crack all to hell.

Shaved stuff turns me off since they usually hack up the back side of the body to do it. Over time the bondo will crack and rust will seep out.

The 19" probably don't fit right and you'll end up pulling the fender lips down when you pull into driveways.

The mods are mostly cheap crap, HKS DP isn't that great, HKS intake sucks in hot air, doesn't filter well either, ractive shift **** is cheap, stereo install means the wiring is hacked along with all the interior panels (busted clips, plumbers tape and black sticky stuff, etc).

Sprint springs? Never heard of those.

Diamond plate above the muffler, hacked...

Sounds like a total pile to me, not being negative, they are all cheap "kid" mods. Not much performance, all bling that will wither quickly with time...

Probably the easiest to install, best fitting DP you can buy.

Pettit is a good DP as well.

I agree, that car had some good engine mods, but a lot of (bad) taste specific body and interior mods. Given the non-engine mods, its surprising it has a PowerFC. Ricers usually don't do that. Possibly the engine blew, then the ricer was told to get the PowerFC. It runs safe in default mode so it was left there. No IC.
