i know this is kinda old but
u guys ever figure out what that would cost in 2006 with inflation? a 94 with a sticker price of $38,955 would come out to $53,282.64 today!

extrapolated for inflation, the -8 is CHEAPER than an 85 gsl-sem which stickered for about $16.6

No sports cars were selling well at the time because the trendy crowd was herded to SUV's and they all followed along. The sports car industry was smashed during the 90's. The RX7, 300ZX, Stealth/3000GT, Supra, NSX even I believe were all cancelled during the 90's although the sector has gotten some new life in a last couple years with the high power sedan craze, ala AMG mercedes, RS6 Audi (Audi's are complete crap btw don't ever buy one) etc.

and the audi's do suck, its a torture device cleverly concealed as transportation, they are nice with a warranty.
and unlike an fd they arent easy to work on!

I got my 93 R1 in Jan 94 for $25,000 in CA, with less than 1000 miles. The dealer had several sub 1000 mile cars to choose from for the same price. I think that they were not selling well and Mazda used them as "demos" putting minimal miles on them in order to be able to sell them at great discounts as "used" cars.
