Question Questions on Doublel throttle

i am about to remove my double throttle assembly it has been diconected since i got the car but i would like to do away with it completly to insure it isn't impeding performance and post or archives on how to do it would be helpful as would any input from experience

You don't need to remove it. You can disable it by capping the vacuum nipples on both sides of the UIM. The nipples connect to hoses that go to the double throttle solenoid. This will keep the intake completely open. Be sure you drive the car easy when it is not warmed up

I remove the plates and the shaft then cut out the web in the center to open the area up . I plug the holes outside for good looks and on the inside for good flow . As above ,you do not need to remove any thing but the more you do the faster the car will be . The open manifold if done correctly will flow more than a stock one .
