A few people have used them up to 17 PSI (about the limit of the stock map sensor). However, as you increase the boost, you decrease their lifespan.

I'd say 15 psi is about the 'safe' limit for a streetcar, in my opinion.

No more than 15psi, 12 on the safe side

All of these answers are assuming you have the proper fuel and tuning mods in place. Stock cars really shouldn't go anything over stock boost (10psi)

How many miles on the turbos ?

If you have old- not rebuilt or new ones they may boost 13psi+ but not for long...old technology was replaced for a reason.

Turn up the boost controller ALL the way. Then when the engine blows, turn it back a quarter turn.

how much boost

Your not a rotary guy if you have ask how much let alone trying to say your going to stick a set of fd turbo`s on a second gen 6 port. Your better off going with a supercharger They actually make a somewhat bolt -on kit I`am sure thats more up your alley. I`am sorry to be a ******* but its the truth about what you posted here.

well, if he had a manifold, and he was running non-seq, he might be able to get it working...

i know it is not a bolt on deal and i am new but i can fabricate anything and i have for this i am not just slapping it on and hoping it works i am trying to do some research here and ****** keep telling me the same f***king thing it isn't bolt on well obviously it is not or more people would have already have done it. and i don't want to have a bolt on because then my car will be just like anybody elses that has a factory made kit for it. and the only reason i ask this is because i did not know what the FD ran for stock boost i dont own an FD i have an FC i always thought it was 7psi

The FD runs 10psi stock, and runs lower compression rotors than a N/A FC.

I'm far from an expert on this subject, but I believe running N/A rotors with turbos is a bad idea. You'd need to rebuild with the more suitable rotors.

^naw, just make sure you have plenty of fuel (maybe some 4x720cc top feeds will get you safe 7psi (WG spring)...good pump also), EGT and WB...keep your AF and EGT in check and you'll have a damn quick N/A-T.

will this be NON-SEQ? if not Saxyman on this forum has made a custom solenoid rack you could fit.

Why fab. up something that wasn't meant to be there. Couldn't you just buy an upgraded turbo kit, and not worry about non-seq. I would just get a single if I were you. Tune it properly and away you go. But, to each his own.

Why would i want to have the same thing as everybody else who has bought a kit when i can make it different and then nobody will have the exactly the same thing and what is the point in getting someone else to make something for you if you have to do that your not a real car guy
