I admit the first tank I was quite heavy on the throttle but now I'm on my second tank and I'm hardly even boosting at all. I keep the rpm's real low like less than 4000 rpm. And sometimes if I do get on boost on accident I check my boost gauge and it only goes to like 5 psi.

Ok, I ain't no FD owner (I have my money in my two homes instead of my sports car ), but it is my understanding that rebuilt rotary engines require some miles of easy driving (500-1000) for the apex seals to conform to the housing profile- in order to build compression. Maybe drive it easy for a few more tanks, and make sure everything is in proper tune. Also, depending on the porting you have, you may get better mpg if left in 4th instead of overdrive. Some porting is more efficient at mid rpm.

And even though I love FDs, I need something that I can run ragged on backroads and still not cost me the bank. For the record, I have driven 100 sprited miles on this tank, and still have 3/4 tank - love those 12As
