How to Make a Rotary

This has been posted before - but not in a high traffic area. I thought everyone should see this since there has been some question to the build quality of reman engines.

You do realize that remans are NOT built by Mazda? That work is contracted out to shops here in the US for the US market (usually 2-3 year contracts).

Yes, I wanted to show the care that the Japs use in contrast to what we all know the lowest American bidder is doing.

I don't believe that is correct. There are many VERY good builders here in the USA. However, most of them are smaller shops which most likely couldn't handle the load of rebuilding motors for Mazda. Just because the remans have questionable quality, that doesn't mean a motor built in the USA (or outside of Japan) isn't of good quality. I'm sure engine builders like Daryl Drummond would have something to say about that statement.

I'm not trying to dis ALL American builders - just the ones making those questionable engines (the lowest bidder).
