How to make lazy eye head lights?
Ive seen it doen before on numerous cars, and i was wondering how to make the headlights of an FD3S into lazy eyes (thats when they are half) while not tamporing with the fuse box or anything. please help
If i was you i would just do it the cheap way. I did it on my old 240SX for about $8. It was tight. You can make it just as nice as the pivot. Just use some electronic skills and imagination.

Someone just tell him.
1. Flip-up the headlights, but don't turn the actual lights ON.
2. Take out the retractor fuse, which should be under the hood in one of the fuse boxes. Look for "Retractor" I believe, if it's the same as in an FC.
3. Flip the switch inside the car to make the headlights go back down.
4. Obviously the lights AREN'T going to go down, but now.... (Refer to step 5)
5. Begin to place the fuse BACK in it's place, gently tap the actual fuse into place. You'll see the lights go down for as long as you hold it there. If you hold it connected too long, they'll go all the way down, and you'll have to start over.
Simply keep the fuse somewhere safe in your car, so you can always put it back if you want to. Simple as that.
The reason this method works is because the lights go down together. And short of buying one of those switches, it only takes like 20 seconds once you know it, it's easy...and hey, it's free. Free is always good.
It's what I'd call "The Poor Man's Lazy Eye". lol :P
I prefer this method over turning the retractor gear thingy for each light, and then having to make sure they're both equal.
IF you do the steps I listed and they don't end up 100% even, THEN fine-tune either headlight via the little retractor gear thingy. I'm not sure where it's located on the FD, however...I just got my FD like 2 weeks ago, give me a break. :P
This is how I did it on my old T2 and it worked like a charm.

See?

He said he didnt want to do it the fuse box way. But thats really the only way i know how. I think the pilot pivot control probably taps into the wires so its really not to big of a difference. I have a nice video for the way to do it on a 240sx, but its in japanese. I gotta find a way to post it.

Ah, yes -- it looks cool. Thanks Afterburn27.
But I heard that for initiations, gang leaders make new members shoot at cars with sleepy headights.
Personally, I want a BOV that both hisses and pulsates!
