How long to apply pressure/vacuum for solenoid test

I am following the solenoid testing procedure by dgeesaman here and noticed the line "slow leaks are not acceptable to me." I have some solenoids that lost 1inHg over several minutes (mostly rack solenoids), some that lose 1inHg per second (like my turbo control one with the bolt on the bottom), and some that don't hold at all. I believe these are very likely the original solenoids since they are quite brittle and about half had the clips broken off by the previous owner.

I'm not sure if the super slow leaks are due to my Mityvac or connections, even though they're fresh 3.5mm silicone lines, tightly fit, and zip tied. Should the leaks be pretty obvious for solenoids that should be junked during the basic tests?

A fast leak (1" per second) is definitely something to worry about. Slow leaks may be moreso the Mityvac or the connection.

just replace all the sequential turbo system solenoids like they're a wear item, see below thread:

After running through the basic cold testing, I think I'm going to end up needing to replace more than I expected. Two had physical damage and obviously needed replacement, 4 fail to energize at room temperature with a 9v, one leaks during energize while capped, and two fail to hold vacuum/pressure at all (including my wastegate/precontrol pair and the ACV turbo control). I didn't even get to the warm testing.

Thanks for the guidance, I appreciate the help.
