I know that the T peice needs to go on the vacuum line that goes to the actuator, I thought I had the right line, but I guess not. Can someone please SHOW me where is it? Picture would be great! Asap would be great also!!!

i'm sure if you spend 30 seconds searching you can find the diagram. it's in numerous threads in this section. i have manual controllers on my car, they are very simple to install.

search: manual boost diagram

Do not install the prespool controller!!! It makes proper adjustment nearly impossible.

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/full-nonsequential-diagram-574505/ go to that link. It helped me out alot and my car is boosting properly and holding it there. I have a turbosmart manual boost controller. Just remember to always start with the manual boost controller completely closed and cap off the other port for the wastegate like the diagram says.

I suspect you do not have a needle valve prespool controller as outlined in the link I provided. A needle valve controller on the prespool doesn't work very well. A ball and spring prespool controller should be much better than a needle valve.

Pretty sure?????

So, you have two controllers? One for wastgate, and one for prespool?

yes. and the "pretty sure" comment was in regard to the type of valve.

i checked, and it is a needle valve.

all i know is that i had mine set so i was hitting and 10psi spike, 10-8-10, with my current setup. (edit...i also have a ported wastegate btw)

you can see them in this pic (the two red lines & 2 valves located next to the top intake pipe)

i'm actually ordering a blitz dual sol. ebc soon though...

Yep, those are needle valves. I was unable to get mine to work together properly. Perhaps it was because I wanted to run a higher boost pattern ......... 13-11-13. Many others have experienced plenty of frustration with a prespool controller. I eventually removed mine, and put back in the original line with the larger wastegate pill in it. This gave me a pattern of 13-9.5-13, which was a little better than the 13-8-13 I had with the stock prespool pill.

I'm running needle valves on both but at stock boost levels.
I've never had anything else, so I don't have anything to compare to, but agree with Adam, it was a bit of a hassle and alot of WOT pulls from ~ 3.5k get it right. I was being helped by another (experienced) member and IIRC, we concentrated on the pre-spool first since it was so much more sensitive to adjustment.

That is the correct line. I'm not certain, but you may have the arrow pointing the wrong direction in the other photo.

Help!
Did you cap the other end of the wastegate actuator? There are two nipples on it...the one you have the controller running to and there is another one on the opposite side of the actuator. You need to cap it off with a vacuum plug and make sure it doesn't pop off. You have the exact same problem I had about 2 weeks ago...I'm positive that is what you are missing. Cap the other nipple on the other side of the actuator.

I beg to differ...

MBC'c are only unreliable if made poorly or installed incorrectly.

You are badly mistaken. My $8 needle valve boost controller works flawlessly, and has done so for 5 years. Thats not a fluke.
