How The Heck To You Get The Screws In On The Fpd

man im pissed, everthing is going good, im doing the vac hose job while im changing out the FPD. i get everything changed out and BAMMMMMM i cant get the screws back in, just wanted to know what you guys used when you did the job my damn fingers are to big. thanks and trust me i tried to search for it nothing on this note

I used some hex-head screws from the ACV instead of re-using the philips head ones. If you are re-installing your ACV, then pick some up at the hardware store. Then I used a ratchet with a 2" extension. Make sure you don't tighten one screw and then start the other. As always, get all your screws started by just a few threads and then tighten them all a little at a time.

i got some 5mm hex but didnt know if i shoud use the lock nut and washer that the oem had

I used a spring washer and a regular S/S washer. I doubt the FPD could ever come loose, but I put the washers on there to make sure the screws don't bottom out in the screw hole.

Did you get it on?
