Hi Kevin!
Take a long extesnion with a swivel and lay underneath the car. It helps if you have a buddy to guide you from up top onto the bolt(s). Twist it until it breaks lose.

Take the engine/tranny out together

Why not? Great time to change those broken motor mounts!

fd3virgin,

You can get them from the top if you use a short, open-end 14mm wrench. Then just use a slender bar on the wrench to break them loose. Once loose, you can usually back them out with your fingers.

If you can pull the UIM off, that will give you a little extra room.

I used a wrench from the top but the guys at Gotham used a 3 foot long extension and an impact wrench from the bottom with no problem.

have someone (or a jack) push up on the rear end of the tranny (tilting the motor fwd) this will give you critical inches.

Then I used a wrench and through a large impact deep well that fit over my wrench and an 12" extension into the deep well socket give you that added leverage.
