How far can you go.....

How far can you go when lowering your FD before you need a camber kit? I want to lower my car about an inch or a lil more can I do this and still set the stock camber so I have even wear on my tires? Thanks

the fd has a real suspension, you dont need camber kits.

So with my Koni Yellows and Ground Control kit I can lower it as low as I want and can adjust the stock camber to work at any height? Thanks

You can go lower than will produce good handling and wheel clearance, and still have enough adjustment left to set up the suspension.

However, as suggested above, over-lowering the car will make it handle poorly, and ride terribly, and if not done with super-stiff springs and properly-valved shocks, the thing will probably hit the bumpstops regularly.

Shoot for about 25" at the fender lip at the lowest.

Mine was 26.9~" when measured before lowering. Easy way is to get a yard/meter stick and just measure it. (Make sure your tire pressure is where it needs to be)

so if you drop an FD say to 25" the camber will adjust enough for even wear on tires? Just curious

when you do suspension mods its not a bad idea to get it aligned so everything is right.
