Arrow How do I make the BOV louder?

Ok. It was a trick question. I know how to make it louder by disconnecting it from the airbox. But my main question is, what do you guys use to block the hole in the airbox? And even though it a one way check valve, I know some of you guys stuck those tiny K&N filters on the end of the hose. I was just wondring what the part number was. Thanks.

It is a one way check valve, but not an actual BOV. The stock BOV stays open under vacuum, meaning it is sucking unfiltered air when you are at idle/off boost.

I believe it is a 7/8" plug that fits on the airbox to plug the hole.

That sounds right.. I guessi better re connect mine...

Idoubt anything could really get in there though!

Watch that cork.. If it gets sucked in it will go right thru the turbo and shatter the compressor wheel

Thanks for the responses! I'm still wondering whether anyone out there knows the part no. of that Tiny K&N filter for the hose? And Stykk33, what do you mean by 7/8" plug? What kind of plug?

I put the filters on mine im pretty sure they were K&N #62-1370 They are 2" long by 1 1/2" dia. with a 1" opening. Double check this opening size needed by measuring the BOV as they also have one that is identical except it has a 3/4" opening #62-1360.
I believe i went with the larger opening and it works fine. Most auto parts stores can order these filters. As for blocking the hole I just used the piece of tubing that leads from the rear BOV to the box and left it attatched to the box and then looped it up and clamped it to the top hole. So now it just makes a U-shape and plugs both holes.
