I'm trying to take it off the stock turbo. I can't see where I could pry it off, and it's on the bearing housing pretty tight. Any ideas?
Thanks

Heh, i dunno what you mean exactly, but i'm pulling my turbos now. So far i've got about 8 hours into it, but i've never done this before. I'm being held back by one very very rounded off nut, and nobody around here has metwrench or that socket thingy with those little needles that conform to the nut. So I took a 14mm socket and JBwelded it to the nut....still waiting for it to cure, but let me tell you, getting the turbos off has been a big pain in the *** for me.

I've managed to separate the compressor housing from the bearing housing. I've also gotten the turbine and compressor wheels out too. Granted that the turbos have already been taking off the center section, so I didn't have to do too much work. Picture an assembled turbo, the backplate sits directly behind the compressor wheel, and infront of the bearing housing. If you get it out, please let me know how. Thanks.
