how to check for vaccum leaks???

ok, I first thought I blew my motor cos my car was just completely gutless, and it dies in idle. but a guy just did a compression test for me this morning is it's 110psi both rotors.... so I know the motor is not blown and maybe just a vaccum leak somewhere... what kinda tools or techniques do I do to find a vaccum leak???
